Here is my poem: Eyes All eyes are different Some are cold and hard Others bright and heaven sent And few are lit and starred
They show joy Or laughter and sorrow too Some show that they are not a toy And others only blue
The art lies in seeing Both from the outside and within Seeing the best in everything And learning that good will always win
Not all of them show feeling Some try hard to try and hide To keep their hearts from tearing They fear of what's inside
Eyes that cry only to me Are eyes that shut to all But magic comes for few to see When they let down their wall
Look deep inside their eyes And find what's hiding there Friends, family, hearts and lies Are kept hidden there somewhere
A heart may not be perfect And friends drift away But it's life, so what do you expect? It's life, and it is here to stay
To find in her eyes some fear Or love and heartbreak true Just show that she is wise beyond their years And longs to talk with you
Eyes are full of wonder And not all may let you in So try to look deep under Their protective, colored skin

*Claps* That was better than anything I've read lately. Good Jorb, Mai! Here's a poem I wrote.
One to mark the path One to show the way
One to do all the math one to die a little more everyday
Two to live and see the end 115 thousand to command
Nations vanquished Fyre burns the ruins of once proud lands
The one who rules them all... Just wants to go home
It is lost... and will never be found.
Rutheless and fearless The Hoard travels on Killing, slaughtering, burning. Kings dead The country in chaos There is only one to blame
Flamelord DhoomBringer Slayer of kings, knights and countrymen The titles the ruler bears... are endless in their cruel messages from her "loyal" commanders
The ruler weeps deep into the night Wishing, hoping, desperatly searching... for the way home.
It is lost... and will never be found
It is lost... and will never be found...

Yeah, My mum read it and said it was depressing. Then she asked who the leader was and I couldn't give her an answer so she answered for me by saying, It was the Boogie Man, Right? That made me laugh. Thanks

I still like it. Maybe the best part of it is that you don't know who the person is. I like it when people are mysterious in poems, books, etc.

Then I think you would like my book. It's a muder mystery where you know the murder but you don't and who you think it is really isn't the person you suspect. But this is for poems. Not books.

I think that it might get a tad bit lengthy.

*shrugs* make a book thread and I see no reason why not. Length doesn't matter if you will type it all out.
