So I was watching a show on the hurricane and a black guy (not to be racist but he was black) said that Bush hates black people (which is ridiculous because he has more black people in high offices than any other president ever has) it got me thinking... The victims of the hurricane are complaining alot about how soon help got there (though the church had them help the day after it happened he he we are sooo good) my father brought up that most the victims that didn't get out were on welfare and so they except the government to help them immediately at all times so what do you think should the food have gotten there faster or are the people just being dumb?
also for those who don't know I am a republican so I thought I would just share this quote which I find very funny "Democrats have been trying to blame alot on Pres. Bush lately but the weathers a bit much don't you think?'

Yeah, we started talking about that in Sunday School. The government has said the fastest they can get help to people is three days. (Hence the 72 hour kits the church asks us to have) People should have been prepared. It's there own fault they knew a hurricane was comming, they are just idiots.

I don't know why the dumb people stayed in New Orleans anyway, I would have left when I heard It could possibly be a 5. And what do they expect, It's the first time in a long time our country has had to distribute that much stuff (food, water, ect.) so of course there were bound to be a few problems. I do feel bad for the poor humans though.

Well Tsuki you know some of them didn't have enough money to go I mean most of them didn't have cars and were probably on welfare.

Ok, but I'm really mad at the people who left their animals. I would have stayed rather than leave my friends behind. And some people left their dogs chained to their porches! It's awful, pets have no chance of fending for themselves! And I know some people were forced to leave them, especially horses and cows, but I think there should be more rescue work for the animals.

Tsuki calm down. The animals will be fine and I'm sure that the ones that died are very happy to be back with their creater rather than in this sour and unforgiving world. You never know how they were treated by their owners to begin with anyway.

I still think that it's mean. If I were an animal there, I would rather live.

Sorry to hear about your friend. I am so glad that I don't live there, but if I did, I would have gotten out as soon as I could. I agree with Tsuki, though. The poor animals! People aren't all that mean though. They did go around and gather as many animals as they could and tried to find all of their owners. It was on Channel One a while ago. Maybe that will make you feel better.

I agree w/ Sakerra. channel 1 is boring... luckily not a lot of oil refineries were damaged.
