We all know the answer to that, but I wan't to debate WHY it's wrong. I already have a huge theory, I just want to see how our veiws compare...
Killing animals for sport is sick, if you are hunting them because the population will starve during the winter, then that is slightly excusable. And If you are hunting for food, then that's fine, that's what (us) animals are for anyways. But animal abuse is sick and wrong. If humans are superior then why do they kill what they consider to be below them for fun?

I think that it is unhumane and unethical to hunt. I mean, unless you were starving and decided to kill one to survive, I understand. But for fun? I don't get it. You put an end to that animal's life and cause them unnecessary pain, all for pleasure. Reminds me of the Gladiators...

Ah... well.. it's more for thrill really... sort of like a blood lust... if you understand what I'm talking about. I'm a deer/elk hunter. But really, it's fun. I'm a werewolf so sometimes the half-moon craze comes over me and it is very... very very difficult to resist.

ok, heres how I see it actually
If you are a hunter and you actually begin to enjoy seeing animals being brutal killed from the stick(Or stick with a string) their blood splattering the ground turning the soil a deep maroon, hearing the death bellow of a mortally wounded (I won't say defensless, most aren't they just don't have a chance to attack) animal, a fellow life form, then you should quit right away. Im thinking that none of you have been hunting before so let me just say this. Those things I list above give me nitemares.

I assure you, not only can I use a gun with amazing accurateness, but I have been hunting and seen animals die and then I have been taught to clean said animal, and pluck it if it's a bird and skin it if it's not. Pleasure hunting, I consider wrong because it is not needed. It is wasteful. Then again I know very few who do it just for that. Other than that, many people actually eat what they kill. From hindsight, that's probably healthier. It exactly the same stuff, just not nearly as processed.

I'm talking about for pleasure and trophies, not eating. I have been hunting, we just didn't get anything. I also hate people who spend a whole bunch of money just to travel somewhere and kill some poor animal that dosent have a chance to begin with. Like wolf hunting, people spend a ton of money to go to Alaska, and then have a helicopter pilot chase a pack of wolves around until they are too tired to run anymore, and then the tourist just shoots them from the helicopter, then they follow the wolf around until it dies of blood loss. thats sick.

I still like deer meat.
Theres a place where you can go Buffalo hunting in Utah. You sign a waver that says basically If you die, it's your fault. They point at a buffalo and say shoot. Sometimes you get it sometimes you don't It really depends. I wanna go there. A buffalo hide blanket would be amazingly warm.
Hows this. Hunting animals for pleasure is wrong. Hunting them for food or for a contest in which you get money and praze is ok. I'm really torn on this issue. I wouldn't hunt a preditor like say, a wolf or a couger. I hunt deer and/or elk. Sometimes ducks.

i think if you use the body for food and don't waste it it's okay in most cases. i don't know what you think but i don't like trophy hunting, if i were a bear i would not want to be a blanket for the stupid hunter that shot me. ask yoko, she was with me at girls camp, our cabin had animals all over. i also think that its stupid to pay a whole bunch of money to shoot and animal that's population is weakening. like buying a lisense for rocky mountain sheep. i agree with shooting them for food, or to stop the population from starving over the winter, but otherwise i think it's dumb.
